HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO DEMOLISH A BUILDING?

Every demolition contract is different and the costs involved will depend on the size and type of building, access to the site, whether any of the materials removed in the demolition can be recycled and waste and disposal costs. Pioneer Demolition will give you a free quote, quickly with the minimum of fuss - please get in touch.

What factors affect the price?

If there is specialist work required, such as removing materials containing asbestos, or restricted access, or work at height or depth, it can be more expensive. Adjoining buildings will require support following demolition. There are strict health, safety and waste disposal rules governing the handling and removal of waste such as asbestos and we can either manage this ourselves or work with other specialists.

What does your quote include?

When we quote for a demolition contract, we give you a total price for everything, including the cost of landfill and haulage and wherever possible, we will do our best to help you reduce costs if there is scope to reuse or dispose of non-toxic waste on site — such as clean hardcore for roads, paths, drives, and soakaways.

How long does it take to demolish?

It depends on the size and complexity of the job but for example, a 3-bedroom detached house might take a day to demolish and a further four days to sort and remove the waste and clear the site.
